General Tour Questions

  • No — we offer Haunted Hearse Ghost Tours almost every night of the year.

Whenever you’re in Savannah, we’re ready to escort you through the Historic District for a spooky, for a one-of-a-kind experience.

  • We currently operate at the listed tour times only.

If you need a different time for a private or special tour, email us and we’ll do our best to accommodate when possible.

  • Absolutely. Every hearse in our fleet was once an operational funeral coach that transported thousands of the Dearly Departed on their Last Ride. They’re now restored and converted to carry guests — but the paranormal energy? That stays.

  • We are the original hearse tour in Savannah, offering an open-air, immersive experience you won’t find anywhere else. You’ll explore haunted homes, legendary squares, historic districts, cemeteries, and real paranormal hotspots — all from the back of a genuine hearse.

  • Yes. Our Viewings are spooky, fun, and historically grounded, but not graphic or inappropriate. Kids, teens, and adults all enjoy the experience. We keep the tone entertaining, informative, and light — with just the right touch of eerie.

  • Our hearses have a roof, but the sides are open-air. There is no heat or AC. Please dress for the weather, especially in colder or rainy seasons.

Booking & Group Questions

  • Yes. Tours are first-come, first-served, and reservations are required to guarantee your seats.

  • Yes. Payment is collected at the time of booking.

  • Each hearse seats up to 8 passengers.

  • Yes. If your party is fewer than 8 but you want a private tour, simply book as a group of 8 — this reserves the entire hearse exclusively for you.

  • We can send multiple hearses for larger groups and coordinate a shared pickup time. Due to city regulations, each hearse must run its own separate tour, but we ensure your party begins together.

If you want multiple hearses only for your group, book in multiples of 8.

  • Yes — but please call us as soon as possible so we can arrange seating.

The easiest method: Have your friend (the original booker) call us and add you to their reservation.

  • We accommodate a wide range of group types. Contact us directly to discuss multi-vehicle bookings, private tours, and special arrangements.

Logistics, Safety, & Weather

  • We operate tours in light rain or clear skies.

    However, for safety:

    • Severe weather may delay or cancel a tour

    • Drivers make the final call on unsafe conditions

If your Viewing is canceled due to weather, we will notify you ASAP and offer a reschedule or full refund.

  • Unfortunately, no.

Savannah’s Historic District has limited legal passenger-loading zones, and private residences are not among them.

  • We pick up at:

    Owens-Thomas House

    124 Abercorn Street, Savannah, GA

    (on Oglethorpe Square)

  • Yes. While the tour is spooky, it is not physically strenuous. Guests should be comfortable climbing into the hearse and sitting on open-air bench seating.

  • Yes. Out of respect for the Dearly Departed, we don’t run Viewings without enough Mourners.

If a tour doesn't meet the minimum:

    • You’ll be contacted at least 2 hours before the tour

    • We’ll offer free rescheduling or a refund

    • There is no penalty for canceling due to minimum Mourners

Rescheduling, Cancellations, & Policies

  • Policies may vary seasonally. Please refer to your confirmation email or call us for assistance. We do our best to accommodate changes whenever possible.

  • Tours leave on time out of respect for other guests. If you’re running late, call us immediately — we’ll help however we can, but we cannot guarantee seating once the hearse departs.

Accessibility & Special Accommodations

  • Because these are real funeral coaches with open-air bench seating, they are not ADA-accessible. Please contact us so we can help determine whether the tour is suitable or recommend alternatives.

  • Yes — but guests should be able to step into and out of the hearse independently. Please dress comfortably and be mindful of weather conditions.
